Helios Green and Helios Realty and Development is proud to present our first green development in Chicago. 2800 Lincoln in Lakeview is pursuing LEED Gold Certification. The mixed use project features retail on the ground floor and 9 simplex and penthouse duplex units. There is geothermal heating and cooling, the building is 50 percent more energy efficient than code and the interiors feature recycled and renewable materials.
We currently are in joint venture with a number of other local development companies dedicated to green building. As these projects come to fruition we expect to continually raise the bar on what it means to build green.
We anticipate building more sustainable projects in the Chicago area in the near future.
